What is ANSTE

ANSTE is a testing environment for advanced network services, mainly intended to automatize the integration tests of eBox Platform, furthermore it could be used to other similar purposes.

ANSTE is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL).

Current Features

  • Automatic creation of Debian, Ubuntu and eBox base images for Xen and KVM.
  • Scenario deployment.
  • Testing and Reporting framework.
  • Selenium integration to perform automatized eBox configuration and GUI testing.
  • recordMyDesktop integration to include videos of the GUI test results in the reports.
  • Server that manages job queues, reporting the results by email or RSS when the job is done.

Future Features

  • GUI to easy generate scenario files, manage test suites, etc.
  • Support for more different systems and virtualizers.
